Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th 1956 at Woodland Hills California. She was the home of her mother as a mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started singing and performing from a young age. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked whether the actress was keen to work in show business. McCormick was offered her first major role when she got a part as a television character in the 1964 commercial of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. A year later she was a guest on the firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly cast in The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1200 kids to be the oldest of the three twins in The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity due to her onscreen brother and co-star Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. It would have happened she stated, but the time was never right for us.
