Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father was a school teacher and her mother as mother at home. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. Beginning at a very early age McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently present puppet shows to youngsters in the area. At the age of six, McCormick young, she took home her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called to ask her if she would like to enter the show business. McCormick got her first big task when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was chosen to play the lead role in Wind It Up and It Breaks, a play at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1200 kids to be one of the oldest twins on The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. This show lasted for five seasons. McCormick admitted in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year run in the series. She was 16 years old at the time. older and the actor aged 19 at the moment. She said that it would be possible, however it was never the best time to do it.
